At present a large number of people, especially children with low vision who need immediate services for medico rehabilitation. With the objective to provide services for identification, assessment, counseling and training with low vision aids and to assist individuals with low vision to reach their maximum potential through guidance and improvement of visual efficiency by prescribing appropriate optical aids, the organisation has  started the project ‘Low Vision Centre’ at SMC Road, Silchar, Dist. Cachar  on 1st April, 2010.
